Larger than the OdysseySeabourn Encore is larger than the Odyssey-class vessels, with an additional deck and expanded public areas. She holds about 34% more passengers, based on double occupancy. She was delivered on November 30, 2016. To further advance its mission with Seabourn Encore, Seabourn enlisted the participation of master designer Adam D. Tihany. Although the architecture of Seabourn Encore is not radically different from Seabourn’s other three ships, Tihany’s vision is present throughout the ship. There is a new softness and a curvaceous elegance to his designs that reflect a noticeably bespoke aesthetic. The vessel exudes ultra-luxury with design elements often found in private yachts. And here are some of the feedbacks: The ship is beautiful, morning coffee and pastries in the observation lounge for early risers was greatly appreciated. Now if they only could control the weather........ it was unusually hot 105-110F during the cruise which wiped you out after shore excursions, The pools were more like dunking spots filled with passengers after the excursions. AC in the ship worked great and provided relief from the heat. The ship is so beautiful in its design and comfort. Decks: We have never gone on Seabourn before so the smaller ship was a benefit but had some drawbacks. Yes it doesn't have all the glitz of the huge cruise ships like Royal but at the same time, Encore has everything you might need while sailing the Med. The 3 decks with whirlpools (2 with pools) was great as we used mainly deck 5 and 7 instead of the big pool deck on 9 as they were a lot less crowded. Deck 7 is on the front of the ship and there isn't any real shade. Clingwin.com had informed you before, that Rolls Royce launched a car with a glass roof and a compartment for champagne bottles.
