House prices in Ireland continue to grow by 9.4% year-on-year. And the highest concentration of property millionaires is in south Dublin - 609 live in Dalkey, followed by Blackrock (576) and Foxrock (540).

Dublin leads the way as the most expensive location on the market in Ireland, the average asking price in Sandycove is now €787k, followed by Foxrock €759k, Mount Merrion €748k and Dalkey €693k.

What’s most expensive outside of Dublin

Outside of the Irish capital, the quaint village of Enniskerry - which straddles the Wicklow/Dublin border is the most expensive area to buy a property, with an average house price of €495k.

North Wicklow features highly on the list with Delgany and Greystones weighing in with average prices of €387k and €357k respectively.

In Munster, Kinsale is the top location (€309k) with Cork Commuter town Rochestown (€297k) completing the top two. In Connacht-Ulster, Kinvara €257k, Oughterard €219k and Virgina €196k occupy the top slots.
