Volvo Cars and Tablet Hotels have opened a boutique hotel in the mountains of Sweden

The manufacturer of premium cars Volvo Cars and booking service for design hotels Tablet Hotels launched a joint project called Get Away Lodge. Thanks to it, travellers can restore their energy and "recharge" in a unique secluded hotel in the north of Sweden.
For the duration of the offer anyone can book a private cottage, located near the lively winter sports resort of Åre in the county Jämtland of Sweden. The traditional mountain cottage has been recently restored and decorated in accordance with the modern trends of Scandinavian design.

The cottage has a bedroom for two, a fully equipped kitchen with a stunning panoramic view of the Orescutan peak and a living room with a large fireplace. Guests will also have a dining room, an office and a relaxation room equipped with yoga mats, incense lights and candles. In the storage room, you can find equipment for winter sports: skis, warm winter clothes and shoes. In full accordance with the concept of the Volvo brand, the hotel offers the maximum luxury in the Swedish sense. The 24-hour concierge service will help guests to order dinner, make an entertainment plan and make sure that torches in the cottage are lit every night.
Also, the guests of the hotel choosing this offer will get the new Volvo V90 Cross Country, ideally suited for difficult weather conditions. Permanent all-wheel drive, high ground clearance (21 cm) and advanced systems providing comfortable driving, will make movement on mountain winter routes comfortable and safe.
The car is ideal for traveling in picturesque surroundings and snow-covered roads or for a trip to the nearby world-famous restaurant Fäviken Magasinet, marked by two Michelin stars.
"Our study shows that six out of ten people around the world want to spend more time outdoors than in the office," said Björn Annwall, senior vice president of marketing, sales and customer service at Volvo Car Group. – “We want to encourage people to reconsider their priorities and return to their forgotten desires and interests. The cottage is ideally blended into a place where you can escape for a few days out of the bustle and restore a subtle balance between work and real life."

The new project has become part of a global campaign to launch the new V90 Cross Country, a car for those who appreciate the harmony and balance between their favourite work and their busy personal life.
