The luckiest man in the world

Do you consider yourself a lucky person? What is this idea of being lucky? For someone it is success in work, family, sports and someone is lucky in gambling. We will tell you an amazing story about a man who is unquestionably the luckiest in the world.

The name of the eighty-six-year-old Frane Selak was heard in different parts of the world. The lucky man, Croatian by birth, was on the verge of life and death seven times and always easily got off.

For the first time he got in an accident in 1962. Then he was in a train that had fallen off the rails and fell into an icy river. On that day 17 people were killed, but Frane was able to escape, getting of with only hypothermia, shock and couple of bone fractures.

In the following year 1963 he met for the second time with his destiny. During the flight, the airplane opened the door and the passengers disappeared from the cabin. 19 people died, but Frane managed to land successfully in a haystack. After such a fall, he left with minor injuries like some bruises, cuts and shock.

In 1967, Frane Selak again found himself in a dangerous situation. This time he was on a bus that rolled over and fell into the river. And again the lucky guy got to the beach, while the four did not succeed.

A few years later, in 1970, the man again became the hero of the next escapade. The car in which he was caught fire right on the move. Just a moment after he jumped out of it the gas tank exploded. Frane miraculously managed to escape. Since that day, the man has come to be called a lucky. Someone might think that he is the opposite of being unlucky, once he gets into such troubles, but he always got out of them alive. Luck clearly did not leave him.

The next incident in the life of Selak was in 1973. This time the man was again in a burning car - petrol from a damaged fuel pump hit a red-hot engine. The lucky survived again, but lost almost all hair on his head.

The next 20 years, Frane Selak lived a calm, stately life, but in 1995 he again got into trouble – he was ran over by the bus, which resulted in only minor bruises.

Already next year our lucky one faced death again. On the mountain road a UN truck raced towards him. In order not to crash into it, the man attempted a complex manoeuvre, but as a result he only rammed the fence and hung over the precipice. Only by a miracle, he managed to jump out of the car, which after all fell down and exploded.

After the seventh accident, more luck came to Fran. In 2003, for the first time in his life, he decided to buy a lottery ticket. And he won! The sum of his prize was 600 thousand British pounds. He spent part of this sum to celebrate his fifth wedding. Has anyone else left in doubt regarding his luck? This man definitely was born under a lucky star, but his incredible fate strikes the minds.

As you can see, not always accidents should be regarded as a tragedy. Draw your conclusions and look for the positive side of everything that is happening, maybe this is just another test of fate. The life of Frane Selak is a vivid example of the fact that everything is possible in our life and luck takes a big place in our life.
