Many Americans are not planning to quit their job in case of a big win.

The United States of America is the leader in the lotteries worldwide, as well as in the number of participants.
A social survey has shown that 19% of Americans, almost every fifth person, play lotteries and dream of a big win.

The younger generation takes a separate line in this survey. Those are people born from 1981 to 2000. This category of individuals rarely participates in lotteries - more than 50% of them have never bought a single ticket and only 9% regularly buy lottery tickets.

Americans, who repeatedly are trying their luck in playing the lottery, look at the possible winnings very rationally.

28% of them think that first of all after winning a Jackpot they will pay off their debts immediately and 22% of Americans will hire financial advisors and experienced lawyers to help them proficiently use the wealth that has fallen from the sky.

Also Americans don’t think that a big win is a reason to abandon their activities and indulge in a carefree life. 25% do not plan to part with their work. In the younger generation, this percentage is much higher - about 40% said that their work is so interesting that they will not leave it for any money

But we must admit that a lot depends on how much people will gain.

42% assure that they will part with their work for $ 5 million and among people whose age exceeds 50 years many are ready to retire even in the case of winning $1 million.
