America is a modern-day country, but despite that Americans are very superstitious people.

Every fourth person in the United States believes in various horoscopes, but even more people believe in superstitions and signs.
So what do Americans think of luck?

One of the most important talismans in the US that brings good luck is a common $2 note. There is a belief that if you buy a lottery ticket with such a banknote, then it will bring you a big wins.

About the bill of $2 there are many legends and stories. Some people say that such a bill does not exist in the world at all. But this statement is inaccurate. Such banknotes exist, but there are very few of them, less than 1 per cent of all other notes. Many in America believe that the number 13 is unlucky.

In many hotels, apartments and organizations, the rooms with number 13 are skipped and after the 12th floor immediately goes the 14th. But the history knows many lucky people for whom it was the number 13 that brought luck and wealth.
